City Barbecue Grand Opening Charity Weekend June 27 and 28!

The new City Barbecue in Garner on Cabela Drive will open its doors to the public on Monday, June 22! To celebrate its grand opening City Barbecue is having a charity weekend on Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th. City Barbecue will donate 10% of the proceeds from the weekend sales to Community of Hope Ministries. Dine In or Take Out - enjoy Garner's newest restaurant.  Great Food for a Great Cause!

Community of Hope Ministries in a Christian non-profit serving the at-risk and needy population in the greater Garner community. Community of Hope operates seven different ministries: a free afterschool tutoring and enrichment program for at -risk elementary aged children; Camp Good Hope-a fantastic summer day camp; a gigantic food pantry which gave away 162,000 meals in Garner last year; the Garden of Hope growing fresh produce for our food pantry; a financial assistance ministry; Carpenter's Hands  - a carpentry ministry serving the elderly, widowed and physically challenged; and a Jobs for Life program - a 16 week Biblically based job skill readiness program for underemployed or unemployed adults.
