We are preparing for another significant winter storm; urging businesses to prepare now, too

We are closely monitoring the projected track of another winter storm system that is forecast to impact the Carolinas through the weekend. Our line technicians and tree crews are diligently preparing and will be ready to respond.
Conditions are favorable for strong, gusty winds, heavy snowfall and dangerously cold temperatures. With portions of the Carolinas still dealing with weakened tree canopies from Winter Storm Fern, additional power outages are possible. Travel may also become difficult, so we encourage customers to prepare now for the possibility of extended outages.
